Filler Injections.

Yes you read that correctly – filler injections – for your feet! Whether to improve the cosmetic appearance of your toes or foot, get rid of painful calluses, or get rid of pain on the bottom of your feet, filler injections may do the trick! We offer calcium, adipose, and poly-L-lactic acid injections that can be used to relieve your foot pain and give bumpy areas of your feet a smoother appearance. When injected into the bottom of the feet, these injections create cushion and padding thereby providing a feeling of walking on pillows and preventing the growth of painful corns and calluses. These injections are useful for anybody who experiences pain while walking barefoot, participates in high impact exercise, wears high heels, has lost volume of the natural fat pad cushion on the bottom of their feet, or has corns that develop in between or on the tops or bottoms of the toes. These injections also serve as a way to non-invasively smooth out bumpy portions of the feet without having to go through the preparation and pain associated with surgery. 

Custom Foot Orthotics:

While many stores sell insoles for foot pain, only a licensed podiatrist or orthotist can legally provide your with a true custom insole made for you and only you.  Prior to determining if you may benefit from a custom foot orthotic, Dr. Waldman will perform a focused lower extremity biomechanical examination on you, discuss the symptoms you are having from your back down to your toes, and take xrays (if needed).  Should custom foot orthotics be advised, Dr. Waldman personally prescribes every inch of the insole and examines them intently to assure that your pain will be relieved.  No two people are exactly alike, and your feet should be treated uniquely.  Dr. Waldman will not pull an insole off of a shelf for you, she prescribes them specifically to be customized for you so that your quality of life is significantly improved for years to come! 
Moore Balance Brace:

There are other non invasive treatments available for individuals who have weakness, instability, or have a high fall risk. In addition to, or in place of a walker, physical therapy, cane, or scooter, Dr. Waldman can prescribe a Moore Balance Brace. These braces, which are custom made by Dr. Waldman, have shown to significantly increase stability and reduce falls in those patients who may otherwise be at high risk of loosing their balance and seriously injuring themselves. Due to the significant amount of work and construction that goes into manufacturing and customizing these braces, many physicians and facilities may not prescribe them. Dr. Waldman however, takes the time to evaluate each person and determine if these braces may be beneficial. Dr. Waldman has been highly successful in keeping people walking upright and confidently in these braces.
