Dr. Michal Waldman, voted TOP DOCTOR and TOP PODIATRIST in Florida, performs house calls on the last Friday of every month.


During your house call with Dr. Waldman, Dr. Waldman will perform a thorough foot and ankle examination, cut and file your toenails, safely remove any ingrown toenails, safely debride any calluses, and moisturize your feet with medically-specialized creams. 


You may book a house call visit with Dr. Waldman as many times as you want. It is recommended that you get your nails and calluses medically cared for once every 4-6 weeks to maintain appropriate hygiene, care, and reduce pain and risk of infection and ulceration.

Please note that house calls with Dr. Waldman are not billed to insurance. Why not?

  1. CMS insurance guidelines do not cover house calls with a podiatrist unless there is absolute proof that the patient is homebound and cannot go to the doctor’s office under any circumstance.
  2. CMS insurance guidelines only allow nails and calluses to be medically cared for a handful of times per year, but most people need their feet cared for more often.
  3. The insurance charge for house calls, when appropriate, is very expensive at $294 or greater.



Dr. Waldman performs house calls and does not bill insurance so that:

  1.  You can be seen as often as you need or like without exorbitant charges. House calls with Dr. Waldman are offered at a discounted rate of $200, instead of $294 or greater by insurance.
  2. You do not have to be home bound. You can still get appropriate medical treatment as often as you want without having to meet the strict and unrealistic criteria of insurance companies.
  3. You do not have to wait on hold for hours with insurance companies, fill out stacks of insurance paperwork for coverage, argue with insurance customer service, or meet any out of pocket deductibles.
  4. You do not have to worry about transportation to the doctor’s office.
  5. You do not have to worry about communicable diseases. Dr. Waldman is fully vaccinated with the COVID booster and will wear a mask and gloves throughout the entire house call visit in your home.
