Meet the Doctors at North Tampa Foot Care in Tampa, FL


Dr. Michal Waldman DPM completed her undergraduate education at Brandeis University and went on to attend Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she graduated in the top of her class. 


 She completed her surgical residency at the DVA New York Harbor Healthcare System, affiliated with New York University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Medical and Surgical Resident. 


 She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). 


 She is trained in all areas of podiatric medicine and surgery, including but not limited to pedal dermatology, biomechanics and sports medicine, routine podiatric care, diabetic foot care, infectious disease, pediatrics, basic and advance biological wound care therapies, pain management, mesenchymal stem cell and amniotic fluid injections, peripheral neuropathy, and limb salvage. 


Dr. Waldman is largely recognized as the leader in nonsurgical, minimally invasive chronic pain management of the foot and ankle.


Dr. Waldman continues to serve as a leader in non surgical treatments for foot and ankle pain and often lectures to undergraduate students, medical students, and residents at universities and hospitals throughout the country. 


 Dr. Waldman grew up in the Tampa Bay area and enjoys spending her free time with her husband Daniel, son Jonathan, and dog Abe.

Dr. Shawniece Boss, DPM — Pediatric services in Tampa, FL

Dr. Shawniece Boss, DPM completed her undergraduate education at Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, and then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive four-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida, and New York-Presbyterian Queens in New York City. While there, she was exposed to multiple facets of podiatry, including elective forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma cases at a Level-1 Trauma Center, as well as office and clinical training. 


Aside from her podiatric residency, Dr. Boss loves to continue improving her surgical skills and furthering her medical knowledge. She has attended many lectures and courses, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgical conferences, Arthroscopy Skills Courses, Limb Deformity Courses with Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and a mini-fellowship in Dermatopathology with Bako Laboratories.



When not helping others, you can find Dr. Boss reading on the beach, dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
