Meet the Doctors at North Tampa Foot Care in Tampa, FL

Dr. Michal Waldman DPM completed her undergraduate education at Brandeis University and went on to attend Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she graduated in the top of her class. 


 She completed her surgical residency at the DVA New York Harbor Healthcare System, affiliated with New York University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Medical and Surgical Resident. 


 She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). 


 She is trained in all areas of podiatric medicine and surgery, including but not limited to pedal dermatology, biomechanics and sports medicine, routine podiatric care, diabetic foot care, infectious disease, pediatrics, basic and advance biological wound care therapies, pain management, mesenchymal stem cell and amniotic fluid injections, peripheral neuropathy, and limb salvage. 


Dr. Waldman is largely recognized as the leader in nonsurgical, minimally invasive chronic pain management of the foot and ankle.


Dr. Waldman continues to serve as a leader in non surgical treatments for foot and ankle pain and often lectures to undergraduate students, medical students, and residents at universities and hospitals throughout the country. 


 Dr. Waldman grew up in the Tampa Bay area and enjoys spending her free time with her husband Daniel, son Jonathan, and dog Abe.

Dr. Sabghir received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. She went on to complete a three year surgical residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan where she completed her training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Sabghir received extensive training in elective forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, pediatric deformities and infections, treatment of lower extremity sports injuries, wound care and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Sabghir joined North Tampa Foot Care after relocating to Florida 4 years ago from New York City where she had her own Podiatry practice.


Dr. Sabghir has particular interest in congenital, biomechanical and pathologic conditions of the pediatric foot and ankle. She has been a Clinical Director for the Special Olympics since 2018. Dr. Sabghir has been part of multiple pediatric academic studies throughout her training. She has published her work in the ACFAP Quarterly Magazine, Down Syndrome Among Us and presented one of her research projects at the APMA conference in 2014. She has volunteered at multiple marathons and sporting events, pediatric foot screenings, and at Yanhee International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Sabghir is also heavily involved in the International Down Syndrome Corporation and has special interest in working with the special needs population. Dr. Sabghir is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Najwah Hayman is a board-certified Podiatrist by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, with extensive training in the medical and surgical management of foot and ankle pathologies.

Dr. Hayman received her Doctorate from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, and completed her three-year residency in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at Cambridge Health Alliance - Harvard Medical School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her exposure to the latest innovations has afforded her the comfort and expertise to accurately evaluate and effectively treat lower extremity ailments of all age groups, ranging from congenital deformities of the pediatric foot and ankle to acquired conditions of the adult and geriatric lower extremities. It is, however, her professional demeanor, empathy and compassion towards patients, that truly sets her apart from her peers. Dr. Hayman believes in a patient-centered approach to medicine that emphasizes education and collaboration. She takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options, empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their care. Her goal is not just to alleviate symptoms, but to restore mobility and enhance the overall quality of life for each individual.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Hayman can be found spending time with her family, hiking, playing squash, and doing yoga. Born and raised in Jamaica, she is an islander at heart and finds every reason she can to visit the beach when possible!
